In these paintings, I capture glimpses of the beginning of my life in the U.S., portraying significant faces, objects, and poignant moments. Each work serves as a glimpse into my reality, with titles like 'Goliath' capturing poignant moments, such as a difficult fight with my tall American boyfriend, marked by a bloody nose. The series with a falling comet reflects my fears of sudden catastrophes, rooted in my Polish partner's abrupt departure after 13 years, while titles like 'Humid September' and 'New Providence' convey personal experiences of loss and change.
